Position Overview
We are currently seeking a qualified and compassionate Practical Nurse to join our healthcare team. The ideal candidate will hold a valid DOH license and have a minimum of 3 years of clinical experience. This role involves providing high-quality nursing care, supporting physicians and therapists, and ensuring patient safety and comfort in an on-site clinical setting.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide direct patient care in accordance with clinical protocols and DOH regulations.
- Monitor and record patient vital signs, medical history, and treatment progress.
- Assist physicians and therapists during examinations, procedures, and treatments.
- Administer medications and injections as prescribed.
- Prepare and maintain treatment rooms, ensuring cleanliness and infection control standards.
- Educate patients on care plans, medications, and post-treatment instructions.
- Maintain accurate and confidential patient records.
- Respond promptly and professionally to patient needs and emergencies.
Qualifications & Skills
- Valid DOH Practical Nurse License.
- Minimum 3 years of relevant clinical experience.
- Strong knowledge of nursing procedures, patient care, and infection control.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work effectively within a multidisciplinary healthcare team.
